Cornerstone Old Catholic Community

Presiding Chapter of the Community Of Old Catholics and Episcopalians

652 19th Ave NE #2, Minneapolis, MN 55418

We examine and strengthen our relationship with the holy Triune in the celebration of the Mass – source and summit of our Catholic faith, the seven holy Sacraments, and Scripture. We encourage each other in the faith.  We pursue ministry together according to our diverse gifts given by the Spirit for the local body of Christ in Minnesota.

Ours is the Old Catholic tradition of the early church. It is a tradition that is apostolic and catholic, embracing the modern world and not fearing it. The eucharistic mystery of the local Church is our basis for building a life of mission and faith together in community.

We honor and take seriously the Old Catholic churches of the Union of Utrecht and its recognition of the Episcopal Church (USA) as being the local Church universal in North America; and we actively seek relationships (koinonia) with local Episcopal parishes and other institutions in the Diocese of Minnesota and elsewhere.
Our eucharistic worship is contemporary and emphasizes the priesthood of the gathered assembly where the whole body of Christ are con-celebrants of the Mass. All baptized Christians are welcome to gather around our eucharistic table and fully participate in our fellowship.

We welcome all people to come and experience our worship centered in Christ and the Holy Spirit, giving all glory and praise to God the Father of all. We are an inclusive Christian community of lay and ordained persons who will embrace you for who you are, and actively welcome you to participate in the full life of the local-universal Church!  If you have been rejected, ignored, or hurt in practicing your faith, we are reaching out to you.
